Furniture Donations

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday 10am to 2pm
Please only donate items are in clean, working and saleable condition.​
We really appreciate when they are sorted with like items.
(i.e. clothes bagged with clothes, toys bagged with toys​, etc.)


PLEASE, NO AFTER HOUR DONATIONS- it creates a hazard on our street.
We cannot accept HAZARDOUS waste- Visit ZeroWasteSonoma.gov for information.
We cannot accept mattresses or e-waste - Visit CCNorthBay.org/Zero-Waste for information.
We cannot accept used batteries-recycle them curbside from your home.


We are a community thrift 501(c)(3) non-profit agency and your donation is tax deductible. Donation receipts are available.

We endeavor to make our store a desirable shopping destination. Our staff makes every effort to maintain a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment. We regret refusing any donation, no matter how small, but we cannot accept certain items that do not meet the current safety standards of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, including recalled items.  Items in unsaleable condition cannot be sold and such donations make it our responsibility to dispose of them. Disposal fees and transportation costs directly impact funds generated for Providence Hospice Sonoma County. We appreciate your support and consideration in this matter.
Donation Guidelines
Items we gladly accept:
  • Clothing: New or laundered used adult and vintage
  • Accessories: Jewelry, gloves, watches, hats, scarves, belts, handbags, ties and shoes
  • ​Clean Linens and Decorative Pillows
  • Arts and Craft supplies such as fabric, notions, buttons, yarn, etc.
  • Cameras and camera accessories
  • Artwork, relics, mirrors, picture frames and lamps
  • BBQ's (clean/ good condition)
  • Books, current and vintage magazines
  • Toys (no stuffed animals)
  • Antiques and collectibles
  • Stationary and office supplies
  • Musical instruments, sheet music, CD's, records and DVD's
  • Seasonal decorations
  • Bicycles and Scooters (in good condition, subject to inspection)
  • Small Appliances (clean with all parts and in working condition)
  • Old Building Artifacts: columns, windows, doors, shutters, stained glass
  • Hand tools
  • Patio furniture, garden decorations, statuary and garden pots
  • Sewing machines (working)
  • Luggage (must be clean and all features working)
  • Small exercise & sporting equipment (please ask)
  • Stereo Equipment and electronics- Please UNLOCK devices that have a pass-code prior to donating and include remote control for DVD/ VHS players
  • Furniture and rugs in good condition: free of stains, rips, holes, odor, burns or pet hair

We accept more than the above listed items. If you are unsure if we accept an item please feel free to call or stop by to speak with one of our employees.

All Furniture is subject to refusal upon inspection.
​Note: We do accept some vintage pieces in distressed condition. A staff member can assist you.


Items we cannot accept:

  • Clothing or bedding with holes, stains, pet hair or odors
  • Used medical equipment
  • Large appliances
  • Microwaves
  • Automobile parts and roof racks
  • Baby/ children's car seats, cribs, toddler beds, mattresses, baby walkers, jumpers, baths, strollers, high chairs, baby saucers, gyms, pak-n-plays and breast pumps
  • Bicycle and motorcycle helmets
  • Blinds and roller shades
  • Bread Makers
  • Building Material: lumber, sinks, cabinets, ceiling fans, etc.
  • Gas lanterns and camp stoves
  • Computers, monitors, printers inc. printer ink, scanners, copy/fax machines, routers, wired keyboards and digital frames
  • Darkroom enlargers, screens, projectors, and camcorders
  • Desks over 4 feet in length
  • Encyclopedias, reference and text books
  • Large exercise equipment
  • Metal filing cabinets
  • Electric and gas powered garden tools
  • Fish tanks
  • Golf clubs & bags
  • Hand saws
  • Heaters, humidifiers, vaporizers or foot spas
  • Kerosene lamps
  • Fireplace screens & tools
  • Mattresses, box springs, mattress covers, bed pillows, air mattresses & hospital beds
  • Metal Hangers (dry cleaner style)
  • Paint, toxic chemicals, firearms, ammunition or fireworks
  • Large pianos or organs
  • Ski equipment & snow chains
